Those of you who have downloaded all the pictures already or who have viewed all of them. I spoted a few airborne pictures towards the bottom, but did anyone find any other pictures?
Im looking for some pictures with troopers in them, and also ones of make shift CP's with radios or desks.
I dont have a big enough hard drive at the moment to dload all of the pictures.

I'm having the same problem. I can open the links to specific pictures that have been listed here but the main page won't open.

Well, It looks like they closed the back door after a year and a half. No more direct access to the index. You will have to use the search function.
I knew it would not last forever. Glad, I downloaded them all.

I knew it would not last forever. Glad, I downloaded them all. I'm one of the unlucky ones to have a dial up connection. Almost had them all when my computer blew up. Oh well.......

Does anyone know of large collections of photos like these from North Africa, Sicily/Italy, or the Pacific?

You can still pull them up one by one by changing the last number in the code string to the next highest number.

I was wondering if anyone knows where the big holes are in the picture numbers? I started at p000040 and go to over p000100 with out getting a picture. I would love to not have to put in individual numbers for hours upon hours with out one photo. Thanks for all your help. GREAT PHOTOS!!

Anyone know the exact number of photos that are in this database? I'm just trying to see how many I'll need to go through in order to download them all.

The website is down....and I'm hoping somebody can find this picture for me. Below is a link to a signature I used in another forum, and it has a part of the photograph in it. The photograph I'm looking for has a soldier (pictured in the link) firing his M1 with bayonet attached, and there is an M4 sherman and a few other soldiers pictured. From what I remember they are all shadows and there's no real detail, but the picture itself is amazing. If anybody has it please email it to me! psneidy (at) gmail.com img.photobucket.com/albums/v185/Neidy/NeidySig.jpg

For those that were able to get all or most of the pics, is there anyway you can put them up on a file server or on a cd?

Anyone know the exact number of photos that are in this database? I'm just trying to see how many I'll need to go through in order to download them all. Matt 2300 I found a good freeware program called "Picture Pump" that lets you specify parameters and then automatically downloads numerically sequenced images. There are over 4 GB of pictures on there, so it's a project to be run overnight.

Lt. Bertolino: "Im looking for some pictures with troopers in them..." Are these enough troopers for you? www.ceris-normandie.com/archivesnormandie/PhotosHD/p000741.jpgI'm going through these by typing in the numbers one by one in the browser. Tedious, but a great thing to do when I'm bored. This is a treasure trove.

Lt. Bertolino, You asked for desks and this is probably not what you are looking for, but it's a good one: www.ceris-normandie.com/archivesnormandie/PhotosHD/p000988.jpg"They're probably clerks; they don't get dirty."-Pvt. Billy Nelson Is there anyway that you fellas who have DLed all the photos could make up DVDs of them for the rest of us who ask... and pay a shipping and handling fee?
