I think I hit the link @atf, not sure. Great site anyway!! Looking to possibly get back into the hobby after 20+ years out. Got everything I need 'cept for uniforms I know what some may be thinking, & no it's not cuz I'm an old, fat slob, (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I'm no longer 6'3", 150lb walking stick, either.
Anyway, still have to sell it to the wife, & it's not like there's alot of units up here near the north pole, etc, etc.
BTW, you all know this internet's just a passing thing, right?

Its been a year ago, but I believe just a Google search brought me here. I might have stumbled upon it a few times before through vendors, but after that I registered and added the site to my daily routine.

I found this forum through a maze of links. I started at www.ontarioairsoftwwiireenactors.com and after about 10 minutes of browsing from one link to the next, I eventually ended up here.

hello everyone
my name is ian and i live in toronto.
i found this forum through several friends who have just gotten into wwii reenacting. (our fathers have all served in local regiments).
i've found everyone here to be quite nice and interesting with no flaming (much appreicated).
i reenact two periods:
american civil war (in new york) wwii (in canada and upstate new york)
my units are 2 para bn (1944) and 9th Texas infantry (acw). i have received a lot of help on my acw impression from lots of reenactors in texas (thanks guys).
thanks so much. this is a great place and everyone is quite nice.
sincerely, ian

I was emailing a reenactor and he pointed out some good websites to buy some gear. Some of those websites had pictures with "WW2 Reenactors Forum" on them and I decided to click on it and it lead me here. I finally went ahead and made an account, so here I am.
