I was just browsing the net in search of WW2 stuff. I had come across it several times, and finally decided to join the site. I do living history with the DDAY museum in New Orleans, but I thought this would expand my opportunities with living history.

I was searching on the net for reenacting links as I have been out of the loop lately. Found the site and am enjoying the amount of help and material here.

I was refered here by a friend/ former unit member. When my former unit disbanded I joined one in nearby Indianapolis that does impressions of the 36th ID ( a Texas unit that wound up with mostly Indiana troops)and the 82nd AB. When they are using the AB impression one of the other former AAF re-enactors and I are creating a glider pilot impression with the mix of AAF and leg equipment.

I was sleeping and had a wonderful dream about a place where all reenactors were created equal and surgar plum fairies danced naked all day long in a field of landmines. ;D. Sorry, I think it was on Yahoo when I was looking at reenactor sites.

Followed a link to the photo of this week (Oct '05) from the NW RPS Forum. I do Russian with the 150th Rifles, and am just beginning to seriously collect for my first G.I. impression -- most likely run of the mill dogface; everyone can't be a paratrooper.

The banner on WPG When I first found it a long time ago I sign up, but my old computer didn't like this site for some reason and I couldn't navigate it very well. I got a new computer a year or so ago and I finally decided to come back and give you guys another try.
Lot of good info here.
