Just finished having a successful D-Day weekend, banquet Friday night, D-Day run Saturday. The bulldozer and excavator moved in after the fun was over. They started moving dirt Monday and finished on Friday. We now have level ground for the next phase of the project, building a 60' X 96" open air pavilion. Which will be used for veteran ceremonies and other military events. After the pavilion we are making plans and getting a materials list together to build 4 barracks using original exterior panels from the camp. Phase 4 will be buying and refurbishing a C-47 aircraft for static display. Please follow the progress on Facebook @camp Toccoa at Currahee

Thanks for the updates. I've noticed a lot more updates on Facebook now, not so much on the website. It's great to hear of progress, it seemed stagnant for a while, likely before you were involved.
