Hello all,
My name is Andy and I am from central NC. I am not new to reenacting, but I am relatively new to the 20th century military. I have been a Civil War reenactor for over 20 years. I have long wanted to branch into other eras, but time and money prevented me. As I found equipment I purchased it. Life happened and I got married and now have three kids. Over the years the finances got better and now I actually have a 1943 Willys MB, a semi 1919a4, and a semi 1917a1. I have kind of built my generic impression around the machine guns. I am presently not a member of any group, but have a completed application for the 30th Infantry Division laying on my desk to be mailed. I have attended several local living history events or festivals where I have displayed my jeep and other WWII era firearms, but look forward to actually belonging to a unit hopefully.
I have always loved history, and enjoy sharing it with the public.
Oh, I also hold a Class I FFL so I have helped transfer quite a few rifles and handguns over the years.
I am looking forward to learning a lot on this forum and will more than likely definitely read more than I post.

Welcome, Andy! Bring that jeep and those guns to Colorado! We have a great unit for ya here. Heck the drive from NC can't be that bad, can it?!

No, not yet. I will get it though. Trying to find parts. Andy: That would be great to have in Nov. Will look for you there even without it. Bruce (27th NC) and I (4th ANV Engineer) will be there. Have you seen the period dance this Saturday and then the picture with the P51 the following weekend at Ashboro Airport? see: www.ncaviationmuseumhalloffame.com/events.html Jeff
