After reenacting ACW for more years than I care to remember, I was spurred on to WW2 after meeting a gentleman that had fought in the Sightseeing Sixth Infantry Division, the same Division I had served in in Alaska on Active duty..

Glad to have you! Many of us were WBTS Reenactors before turning to something else. Where are you living presently? Not Alaska I hope, since there are few events of any era up there I assume.

I left AK in 2000... actually we did some WBTS LH stuff, but alot of what I did up there was 1760s trekking. I am a happy resident now of Savannah, GA (well, actually Port Wentworth!) and loving it.. Im still an active WBTS reenactor, but meeting someone on whos shoulders I actually stood made me realize, the 6th is one of the unsung divisions, and needs its story told, and who better to tell it, than some one who lived the legacy that the Sightseers passed to us.. ON THE LINE!

Welcome aboard. I still do ACW as well as WWII. It's challenging: shave off beard, grow beard back, shave off beard, grow beard back...

Shoot missions? Were you in field artillery? Only thing I miss about Fairbanks is the Food Factory. Grizzly Burger was awesome.
