Im having some difficulty findin Canadian BD in my sizes, and am not i would want to take originals into the field anyways. So does anyone know of any quality repros of Canadian BD?
Also, is it best to leave original items at home or for display and use repros in the field?

they are not that bad, the wool is kinda thin...the one major problem is they dont have the orginal metal buttons. John |

Thanks for the info. No offense to Mr. Lyndon, but I've been told those are a last resort for Canadian BD.

Fabric and leather are organic materials subject to decay; after 70 years items made of these materials generally have become fragile and are no longer suitable for the field use for which they were intended. Better to use reproduction items than risk destroying collectible originals.

You can get the 1950s trousers, but you have to add the field dressing pocket and the post war tops need a lot of work. John |
