I have come into an offer for a Gestapo ID disc. I would like to inquire as to whether or not it is fake. It is a looks to be a L to R-Office for Security for the City of Danzig warrant disk. I just would like to know if anyone who has purchased these, are aware of what to look for. I went to donbible's website, and it didnt show the one I was looking into. ALL help is appreciated but I ask that those too immature to handle this to refrain from posting. i88.photobucket.com/albums/k193/Schutze16/gestapo2.jpgi88.photobucket.com/albums/k193/Schutze16/gestapo1.jpgFranz MODS* please move to where you see this fitting, I didnt see anywhere better to post.

The pictures are terrible and little can be said based on them but I see what appear to be pockmarks from crude casting which is typical for an Eastern European fake/fantasy item.

FYI:
Along with daggers, helmets and medals/badges, the Gestapo warrant disc must be one of the heaviest repro'd items in collecting!
I can remember WWII Ltd. (late 1970s) and Delta International (early 1980s) having fakes for sale.
