Found this on Flickr. According to the caption, it shows the ship's Vought OS2U Kingfisher that appears here on the Missouri (BB-63) shakedown cruise after an abandon ship drill in August 1944. www.flickr.com/photos/konabish/5261111476/sizes/l/in/pool-837569@N23/Of interest to me, the sailors who apparently belong to the ship's V Division (responsible for the Kingfisher) some of whom are wearing dixie cups dyed red (ammo and fuel handlers?). In the left foreground, an assortment of headgear -- white dixie cups and the OD ball caps. And a lone Marine in khakis with M1 in hand. Also note a fire hose laid out on the deck. Chief Mike
