Found this on the web. There are two films. One film (divided into two parts) shows the life of the German sailor aboard the battle cruiser Gneisenau during the winter of 1939/40. Great shots of uniforms, main battery and flak firing, plus ship services such as the cobbler shop, tailor shop, barber shop, ship's store. In addition, shots of the bridge and machinery spaces. The other film is a compendium of shots aboard the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, just prior to, during and returning from its sortie with the battleship Bismarck in May 1941.
