Amazing footage. Check out the guy putting on the web belt with the British revolver holster, the parachute helmet cover, the M3 Lee recovery vehicle, the "Flail" Sherman, the officer walking with what looks like a folding stock carbine wrapped in something...Lots of cool stuff in this film. That looks like Dick Winters shaking hands with Gen. Montgomery too. Poor Patton, no wonder he disliked the press, "Pearl-handled revolver"... www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/1944/video/x3j99c_no

It can't be Dick Winters, the helmet is marked to division HQ. It is most likely Gen. Taylor. See bottom of the page here: www.101airborneww2.com/insignia3.htmlLooks like at 4:02 man on left is wearing a '42 jump jacket.

Geez! Did you see all the farbs wearing HBT. There's enough in the footage to make the most pure reenactor's head spin. Good stuff. Thanks for posting. BTW, that does look like Gen. Taylor. Or was that Dale Dye as Col. Sink?
