Wait...is that an Israeli Air Force shirt AND a German dogtag? But seriously, very nice pic. One I'm sure you will cherish for ever.

Knox event and I'm taking him to the Airborne & Speical Operations Museum at fort bragg next weekend (he originally trained and voulenteered for airborne artillery), so I'll grab some more pics then. but here are some more Knox pics. prior to Ft. Knox he had not seen a M10 in over 60 years i35.tinypic.com/149s2sg.jpgi38.tinypic.com/2pr62s0.jpgi38.tinypic.com/2v16v5j.jpgHim at the TD memorial i38.tinypic.com/2im5hdk.jpg

Craig Mutch appreciated. He's the typical WWII soldier, walking shoes, pleated pants, wire rimmed glasses, plaid shirt and "I was there hat". Although he has brass accenting the cane it does have a wonderful stain. i38.tinypic.com/2im5hdk.jpgThere are two Airborne museums at Bragg, which one are you taking him to or are you hitting both? Craig
As I've got a cane that I have to use occasionally it's more like an inside joke between your grandfather and me. Mine is closer to issue though.
I've been to the Airborne Association Museum off post myself and your gonna love it. They've got deployed chutes in the mail hall with mannequins suspended. They're life size dioramas are also spectacular. Being they aren't Government owned they can also display originals where on post museums have to go with reproduction more and more with their open air displays. It's defiantly a deeper pocket museum budget wise then the Army can afford and last time I was there, they had WWII vets as tour guides.
