What price glory.
I'm mostly a lurker though - the whole "God gave me two ears, and one mouth for a reason" thing.

Greetings members, old and new. Since we have over 5000 members, I am just curious as to how you found out about this forum. Most of you know that I created this forum in mid June 2003 after Jerry's went kaput! I had some experience with running forums, but none with over 5000 members! So here are the questions I ask of you: How did you find out about the forum, what units do you portray, and where do you live?I created the forum, and I am from West Virginia, USA. I mainly do medic impressions for US Airborne and German Gebirgsjaeger. did a google search for WWII forums. Just starting out with the 5th Rangers Bat. F Company. Keyser, WV

A guy in my unit told me about it and I signed up. This a very helpful forum and I'm glad that it's available so everyone can have a common place to pool their knowledge about WWII history.

Found this forum from the WW2 Airsoft Association's forum. I thought I would snoop around to see if I could find some interesting stuff reguarding US Infantry, and USAAF Ground Crew reenacting.

I found this site, by searching for forums on the topic, but also with a bit of an ulterior motive. I am a member of a group who is trying their best to protect our local regimental museum from closure. The DLI museum is dedicated to our local hero's and the recent announcement by the council to close this next year has come as a bit of a shock. The fact there was no public consultation and even many counsellors, other than a few select cabinet members knew anything about this, until it was announced recently. This has left us with very little time, to fight the decision, some local counsellors have applied for a scrutiny on the decision, However our group need to raise £5000 to start a legal battle, employ a legal team to help us fight this. This is getting quite urgent, so I have no choice but to go to such drastic measures to enlist a little help. Time is limited. Any moneies left over after the costs of legal proceedings, will be split between military charities, so theres no need to worry about where the money will go. I am hoping that some of you, doesnt matter how many, can help us, donate towards the funds, even a tiny bit £1 would be sufficient, if everyone who was opposed or concerned about this decision donated as little as that, our target would be reach tomorrow. You can help us by donating to
Our group facebook page link is below please feel free to join us.
